Undisputed Online Tournaments (Temp. Delay)

Alright I'm looking to get this ball rolling anytime now, might be a little delayed since someone decided to delete a bunch of stuff but that's cool, we'll work through it.

Been talking with ROP7R, he's been helping the idea of holding a Round Robin tournament for each division, this should give members quite a few more fights to work with. At the end of the the time window given, top 2 can face off again.

At this time I'm not sure if we settled on anything for winning, bragging rights for the most part.

This will be for both consoles. and while the Round Robin is going on I plan on holding some Challonge Tournaments, 16 Player Double Elimination.

So the UOT will have lots more fights for our community to be involved with. Should give a good kick start to things as well as give our writers lots of material to work with.

The Playstation 3 WW, MW and HW divisions have fewer amount of members. What to do?

I've had it suggested that we merge the divisions. But anyone without a CAF would be required to make one if they want to compete.

Round Robin, everyone fights everyone. So lots of fights for you guys.

And as I said previous, Jube is gunna do the tournaments. I'm just going to do Round Robin... unless his tournaments don't work out great then I'll kick mine back up.

Well my only question is when are the signups so I can have an idea on how long I have to make a new CAF. Thats the only problem I see and I would need to know what weight class would be the most limited in numbers cuz I will make my guy in that weight class.

personally don't merge the divisions... I would wait and see what the sign ups are like.... my view is that I would expect to see around 5/6 fighters per division signing and that still is a decent 4/5 fights to get in before the fight window closes.

Options if sign ups are really poor, and without merging the division would be to have two fights against the opponent your facing, effectivly a home (blue corner) and away (red corner) leg where wins/losses for both fights count on your record.

So If its just 4 fighters signing up, we would effectivlely fight 6 times - twice against each other.

Anything lower than for then I think you need to scratch it.

These are on temporary delay. Jube has off weekend tournaments he wants to start, if they don't pick up within a few weeks these will kick off.

Signups will be for all divisions using your regular UOC CAF.

at least 3 of your ex team subbed in 1st round flying arm bars....
so really i think the fair outcome of that is that SK disqualification voiding all fights due to DQ.

i think jube is looking into it, and im happy to have a real uoc fight with you :) at uoc 15.

And as said in previous posts im doing a webcam record so can hear mashing too, so if u get BS sprawls every 2 sec with no takedown defence i think admins are going to be dubious tactics.

i said to you yourself...about all them sprawls and about getting out of triangle on full yellow...someone said you done similar with supadave so im happy to fight you :) because i think we both know it wont go down the same way, and like i said if you escape and sprawl everything vs 100 tkd offence and 115 subs so easy your going to give somet away.

If you REALLY know about this game, you would know that if you mash buttons, it's your strength points that count. If you shine, then is when the points for the skill of takedown offense and defense is used(same for submissions). Also your clinch strikng offense also accounts for when you attack from CLINCH RANGE (not clinched). I have done my tests and it's all true by my standards. Well since you make a most valid point that im not in sk, i do look forward to our fight. And good luck.
