UOC News Writers Wanted

As promised, I'm starting the application process now for the UOC News Writer positions. I'm looking for four guys to join the staff, two for 360 and two for PS3.

As a member of the staff, you'll be required to do certain things:

1. You'll be asked to write at least one article a week, sometimes two. The goal is to have an article a day up for viewing. I am hiring four members to go with myself to help make the work load easier on everybody involved with UOC News.

2. You will be required to meet particular deadlines and will be asked on occasions to change up writing styles, whether it's a fight review, Q&A with a member of the community, or just an article on a particular camp. I want the articles to be as fresh as possible.

3. You will also be asked to have Skype on your computer. It is simply much easier to communicate that way and I'll have a chatroom set up for it.

See, pretty simple requirements. Now if you'd like to apply to be on the staff, here's what I need you to do:

1. Write an article on a prior fight in UOC History. Filmgeneric did this for the original UOC News applications and I thought it was a great idea. I don't want this to really be a play by play of a fight, I want it to be as professional as possible.

2. Write a few sentences telling me why you'd be great for the job. It might be a little cheesy, but it helps.

3. Give me some times as to when you'd be available to meet on Skype just in case we need to have a meeting or so.

4. Tell me how great I am. (j/k)

5. Email all of this to UOCNews@hotmail.com. (See, I'm getting organized with this stuff. ;) )

Also... its gonna be hard to do a write up that reads as good as an H2 write up... I always enjoy H2's articles... good luck guys

Great idea, anything 2 make the site more active/ exciting. Looking forward 2 some interesting write ups.
