360 HW Championship Tournament

Couple of quick notes:

1. These will be 3 round fights, just like a regular non-title match.

2. It's very important to communicate with both your opponent and myself if you're having issues with the fight. This tournament needs to move at a quick pace.

3. The title fight is planned to headline UOC 28 so if you make it to the final, kick back and relax.

4. All of these fights will count towards your official record.

5. No changing of styles from what you signed up with for UOC 27. The only way you can change is if your opponent agrees.

6. Results need to be reported and also posted in this thread.

Well iponder i don´t think it was that laggy, i was able to reverse almost all your transitions, only one that you got through was that slam from closed guard and it was because at the same time i was try to press the submission button, i would have reversed that one also, because you timed your transitions in same 1-2 second delay and its like spamming transitions against me and i hold the mount forever because you did 3 different transitions which resets the count. I have been in much worse lag than that when its almost impossible to reverse anything. And your ground grapple stats were lower than mine and you had 1 on sub offense against my slam spam tactic so its game over even before the match starts, because i normally fight with 90/90 ground grapple against ppl that have 110/110 + you can´t throw strikes against me cos i will counter grapple 90% of them so stepping jab is kinda dead end. Darren and renegade know how to fight muya thai against me. They are very carefull of throwing anything and use only kicks and clinch and try to time the way that i am unable to counter grapple so easily so i have hard time against them, you can´t go and try to brawl against me.

That being said you would propably beat me if i would use bjj, but against wrestling you just can´t be too aggressive cos i have used counter grappling since the game came out, so i kinda feel it when the strikes and kicks are about to come.

Yeah kassidy i don´t have standup at all, watch the fight with me and zimclinn. I beat him standing. I also was 5-5 or 5-4 at boxing after dark and all my standup fights were close, my standup is pretty medicore, its not best and its not worst, so why would i stand and bang in a event fight if i know i have disadvantage there. My standup stats are much lower than my opponents, do you really think im gonna stand and bang against muya thai and eat those dodge knees and clinch. Iponder would have beaten me on standup, no doubt. Does that mean i need to standup against him? I hope he posts the fight so you can see how laggy it was. Ren fights with much worse connection and gets much worse lag against americans, you can ask widow-maker hows the lag against me compared to what he got against darren or ren. The lag wasn´t that bad that it has been in many other fights that i have had, but when i have ever said something about lag, its like "yeah thats an excuse" but when i beat someone it seems to be fine to blame lag.

And kassidy you can fight ppl i have sparred with on the ground and ask them after the fight that whose ground game is better. I have best ground game on this site with bobby boulders, renegade and darren (eventho he is banned). Sometimes my game is bit off and it happens to everyone i don´t always perform at my best, iponder just had a bad fight and he is pissed off, i have had bad fights where nothing works sometimes its not your day, sometimes everything seems easy. But i have played this game from the begining and always fought the same way. I tried to switch styles and use bjj and judo... it didn´t work out. Im 6-0 in my last 6 fights with wrestling
im 3-5 in my fights i didn´t use wrestling... so yeah.

And you know kassidy that you have ppl in your camp that just shoot for takedowns. I tried to stand and bang with zimclinn. He was the one who shoot for takedowns, I tried to stand and bang against widow-maker he is the one who shoots for the takedowns.

If i would fight king im sure he would shoot for takedowns. Get your facts right its not like that everyone i fight tries to keep the fight standing. If you watch the fight with me and bobby i was unable to throw him at all. Only throw i got, he reversed to mount. He threw me like 4 times before i was able to get a reversal choke, when i fought against longbeard he threw me more than i threw him. And i threw iponder only once in the whole fight.

Unfortunately ceeda wasn't able to follow through with the above comments and never logged onto Live today. This is almost 6 days now which is just too much waiting for one person. I'm now removing him from the tournament and replacing him with ZPryde.

Are you saying the issues with your stomach lining are related to drinking too much soda?

I could stand and bang with muya thai against you because i nowadays only play with that style, its more fun and i think my muya thai standup is actually pretty good nowadays. With boxing tho I will not wanna stand too much because i think i would have a huge disadvantage against kickboxers and muya thai fighters. Boxing for me is the worst style to be aggressive standing up, but at the same time its the best defensive fighting style. I don´t throw that much strikes, but it helps me to clinch/throw and get the fight on the ground more easily than what muya thai does.

I think I might have an edge on the ground (reversals and gnp), but you will most definitely have the huge edge standing. So it comes to that if you can reverse enough of my throws (one is most likely enough to reversal sub me out), time your combos right so i can´t catch kicks or strikes. So i think it can go either way.

And kass it doesn´t mean this can´t be exciting fight if we both have our gameplans and we have a good fight. The tempo can be slow and both of us can be very cautious but it can turn out to be a great chess match and a very close fight. Nothing better than fight all 5 rounds and in the end of the round 5 someone makes that tiny mistake and other player takes away the victory.

And i don´t only throw ppl nowadays :D I have thrown my opponents total of 4 times in my last 3 fights, and i haven´t body tkoed any1 either for a long long time, of course i will throw and catch if you let me, but people are nowadays very good timing their strikes and combos, so i don´t think that will happend. I have one first round ko in the tourney, one second round ko and one sub, so i have finnished my opponents. Bobby was the one who threw me like a ragdoll and started to fight Kenukka style :D
