Welcome to the GJJA lounge! We are an up and coming camp that is getting stronger by the day. Were a small but skilled, and a determined camp in becoming a powerhouse like other elite camps in the UOC. We are looking forward for the ladders and uoc events and having many competative fights with alot of the great fighters in this great league. So everyones invited for conversation and any questions for any of our members. you need a allie camp to sparr with then ask and we'll see what we can do. thanx and enjoy!:cool:

yeah my daughter recently started doing bjj in my school ATT. next yr she could start doing muay thai. but im already showing her the basics of muay thai so she will be alittle more advanced then the other new 5 yr olds. everyone at my gym say that shes gonna be real good when she gets older.

Yeah, I think we can start doing try outs now since we have a good core. We'll also start removing inactive guys who aren't sparring with the camp. I think a cap of 20 fighters is good. What do you guys think? Also, I'll get back with MK and LR soon. I think LR and WM taking care of the tryouts sound great. Then if they're unable, maybe MK can back them up?

Or actually, LR, WM, and MK can all just take care of them. We don't really need any backups for try outs unless I need to be the last resort. They just need to try out with at least two seperate members.

They were always slow with either answering my questions or just getting me back my system. Once the hard drive messed up on it, I just got a new computer. Went to Wal-Mart and bought a cheap Toshiba laptop. I didn't need anything fancy and it hasn't failed me yet.

Might have to make another CAF because I'm honestly perplexed as to how my ground game sucked so bad that fight with JamesArk. Maybe it was lag, I'm not sure, but I couldn't get any reversals in. I know I timed a bunch of those correctly too. I have 90 ground grapple o and d so I should have been able to do something on the ground when I timed that correctly.

I didn't record it. I'm not sure if he did or not. It was crazy though. I'd hold transition block and he'd still be able to move (not lying on that one either). I couldn't transition really or reverse. Just a bad bad fight. Rooting for you to take this thing down now WM.

my fav in the world....boxing :D and bjj lol....im short so the boxing comes in handy can duck em kicks and bjj because I need to work on my ground game and get strong there

While you're standing and he's on the ground, get super close to him then click in the right stick I believe. If you struggle with the ground game, I'd definitely recommend something other than BJJ from my experience. All you can do with BJJ is pull guard so if you suck on the ground and you're getting beat on the feet, you're screwed. At least with wrestling or judo you can throw your opponent and get in dominant positions. If you're good at counter grappling, I'd recommend judo because you can throw your opponent after a counter grapple and you have some good sweeps. Otherwise, I'd go wrestling.

I've already removed iTz vizion as he hasn't been active and has lost his contract. Need to have a contract to be a part of this camp now I say. (Polarfuse, I know you're waiting on yours, you're safe, lol) Hulksmash could be booted but I don't want to boot him as he's my brother. Raven won't be booted either as he's dealing with family issues.

Damn I went and lost my tournament fight. I think that was the worst performance of my UOC career. I couldn't get any reversals due to a little lag and he got past my blocks with his superior stats (he had a few 1's in there :s ). He then got the mount surprisingly fast and just pounded away :( I was so pissed at myself for being so bad :) Oh well, I guess I'll have to take the belt some other day...

so...after seeying my ground game needs so much work in definately creating a new dude and i think im going wrestling or judo instead of bjj...

wich would be a better one for an offensive ground fighter judo or wrestling?

and going MT instead of boxing...need some kicks and with a good clinch grapple can help me stay on my feet..

the slams do come in handy I must say....I tried judo and i like the tosses but felt they left you way to open to a reversal.....

but since your an expert in wrestling.....I might just use your sparring to work it better :D but definately going MT I need some kicks/knees even though I heart boxing lol

Stand punching is my biggest proplem with MT. i love the elbows on the ground and the quick punches when you mount someone

Yeah Point, the good part about going MT/Judo is you'd be absolutely deadly in the clinch either way you go. Could be a downfall too though. I'm going MT with my next guy because I need something standing up wise. I think the Clinch could help my game greatly.

Damn I hate those 1´s. I mean, even Rampage's Kick O is 40 or so and he doesn't kick too often :) But if someone does it, it's their decision. I wouldn't mind a rule change saying that there is a minimum rating for a stat. But I doubt they will do it.

Couldn't agree more. Ask MASTER K1LLA :) Just sparred with him and did some serious damage in the clinch. He lasted to the fifth round though and clipped me numerous times. Good fight, bro.

I was thinkin to make him well rounded only issue is as I fought 2 dudes on ladders yesterday they have certain stats OD stacked....but then again that should be no excuse......

MT you need the clinch striking and kicks I dont really see a point of punches to be honest but ill keep it decent and I doubt ill go over 50 for sub O but definately 100 for sub D I prefer to keep everything in beat down mode plus u can sub someone with 50 just gotta make sure they have 0 energy and u got full energy

ya man. put it on easy, win until your guy has Level 5 sparring partner (can see this in status, at the bottom) and only work on training your speed/cardio/strength.

Once you have level 5 training partner your strength/cardio/speed should be maxed and you should be in year 4 or so. after this all you need to do is spar and finish your training camps.

If you can't get good points in sparring, LOSE. your sparring partner mimicks who your fighting next. So if your fighting Rampage next your sparring partner will be a beast, but if your fighting the 25th ranked guy next your sparring partner will suck.
